Last updated: March 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Exla Corp (“AutoVisor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, create an account, or use the AutoVisor service to monitor your fleet of embedded devices. Please review it carefully before using our services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account, contact us, or subscribe to AutoVisor, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, company name, role, billing details, and any messages you send to our team. If you connect a source-control account, issue tracker, or chat tool, we receive the OAuth tokens and metadata necessary to perform the integration you requested.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit our website or use the AutoVisor dashboard, we automatically collect certain information about your device and session, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve our services.
1.3 Telemetry From Your Devices
AutoVisor exists to ingest and analyze telemetry from the embedded devices you operate. Depending on how you configure the service, this may include crash reports, coredumps, stack traces, register state, device logs, firmware version, hardware revision, device identifiers you assign, and metric series you choose to forward. You decide what is forwarded and how identifiers are scoped. AutoVisor processes this data on your behalf as a processor under your instructions, in accordance with our customer agreement.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the AutoVisor service.
- To process payments, send invoices, and manage your subscription.
- To send you technical notices, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- To respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and resolve issues.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the performance, features, and security of our services.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us host, operate, secure, and support AutoVisor (for example, cloud infrastructure, payment processors, error monitoring, and customer communication tools), bound by appropriate confidentiality and data processing terms.
- AI subprocessors. AutoVisor uses third-party large language model providers to investigate crashes and produce root-cause hypotheses. We send the minimum context required for the analysis and do not permit those providers to train their models on your data.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.
- Protection of rights. When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or violations of our terms.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information and customer data for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Telemetry retention periods are governed by your subscription plan and the configuration you set in the dashboard. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
5. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to employees and contractors with a legitimate business need. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is, however, completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
